The South Dakota Department of Public Safety – Emergency Management and Federal Emergency Management Agency would like to invite you to learn more about Floodplain Management from both FEMA Region 8 and State government floodplain specialists. The half-day virtual workshop event will have informal floodplain presentations and a question-and-answer period to help aide attendees in understanding basic floodplain concepts. A tentative breakdown of the four-hour workshop can be found below.
