All-Hazards Position Specific: L956 Liaison Officer
Tuesday, Jan. 23 – Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2017 (2-day course)
Sioux Falls, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
This course is designed to provide local- and State-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties, responsibilities, and capabilities of an effective Liaison Officer (LOFR) on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). Exercises, simulations, discussions, and a final exam enable participants to process and apply their new knowledge.
Audience: NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position-Specific training should be completed by personnel who have the potential to be assigned to functional, support, or unit leader positions on a Type III All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT), or by those persons who desire to seek credentials/certification in those positions.
Please register for the class here on Eventsmart, and also fill out application form 119-25 and send to marissa.cronan@state.sd.us, along with copies of the certificates received for the required prerequisite courses (below).
Required prerequisites: IS- 100, 200, 700, 800
ICS 300, 400
***You will not be able to attend the course if a 119-25 and the certificates have not been received beforehand.***
