The MEDICAL COUNTERMEASURES: POINT OF DISPENSING (POD), PLANNING AND RESPONSE course is intended for public health, health care and medical, law enforcement, emergency medical services, fire service, emergency managers, government organizations, private industry and education as well as volunteer organizations (MRC, CERT, Civic Organizations) at city, state, county, and tribal nation levels.
This interactive, face to face, instructor facilitated program employs best practices, lessons learned, validated medical data, and potential threats to the communities you serve. Sessions address integrated planning considerations and concerns specific to medical countermeasure dispensing, law enforcement, and emergency planners, with an intended outcome of integrating and coordinating all aspects of community resources to incidents related to bioterrorism or pandemic response.
This course is available for delivery at NO COST in all U.S. JURISDICTIONS – as it is provided via a cooperative agreement through the FEMA/DHS (Department of Homeland Security). Students may be responsible for travel related expenses based on state or territorial policies.
