Thursday, December 5th, 2024 8:30 to 17:00 (CST)
Crisis Track is a tool for County EMs and potential Public Assistance applicants to use to track damages during and after an event. Damages that are entered in an incident through Crisis Track are then submitted to the State OEM office for use during PDAs to verify County thresholds and request a Presidential Disaster Declaration.
Class will be broken into three parts: Online application, Mobile Device Application, and Self-Report Website. Topics covered will include pre-disaster setup, administrative functions, damage capturing through various forms and methods, and additional functions of the software.
This training is specific for County Emergency Managers and other County Staff that would support in damage collection or review.
Participants will need a computer and smartphone for hands on training with the Crisis Track App and web forms. Before training starts you will be contacted to ensure you have a user account and are able to log into the system. Completing this step prior to training will ensure class begins on time with no delays.
After approval of your request to attend, you will receive specific venue information.
Any questions can be directed to the Public Assistance team at Dustin.Hight@state.sd.us.
