2026 South Dakota Incident Management Assistance Team Workshop

Tuesday, February 10^th through Thursday, February 12^th, 2026  – CST

February 10 – 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Speaker at 7:00 PM

February 11 – 8AM – 5:00 PM

February 12 – 8 am – 3:00 PM

The Incident Management Assistance Team Workshop is open to anyone with an interest in Incident Management training. The Workshop has been designed to provide training/refresher training/introduction into Incident Management concepts and operations. The Workshop centers around the Command and General Staff Sections of the Incident Command System. The Workshop is open to anyone interested in refreshing their ICS Skills or wanting an introduction to the Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT). A common theme throughout the Workshop will be the Planning Cycle/Planning P.

The Workshop begins at 1230hrs CT on Tuesday, February 10^th with Check-in and a Regional Coordinator Briefing at 1300hrs CT. There will be a Guest Speaker on Tuesday night beginning at 1900hrs CT.

The Workshop will be held at Arrowwood in Oacoma, SD. Attendees will need to make their own hotel arrangements.
