G361 Flood Fight Operations
Wednesday March 20 – Thursday March 21, 2019 (2-day course)
8:30 am – 5:00 pm
This course is designed to provide information for local officials to decide if a flood fight is possible and worth the effort and cost. It will discuss general flood information, preparation strategies, mitigating options, threat evaluations, and recovery solutions.
Audience: Emergency managers, public works officials, levee district representatives, and others responsible for planning, preparing, and managing the response to a flood.
Required prerequisites: None
***This course counts towards FEMA’s Advanced Professional Series (APS)***
